Fever Crumb by Philip Reeve

"Fever Crumb is a girl who has been adopted and raised by Dr. Crumb, a member of the order of Engineers, where she serves as apprentice. In a time and place where women are not seen as reasonable creatures, Fever is an anomaly, the only female to serve in the order. Soon though, she must say goodbye to Dr. Crumb-nearly the only person she's ever known-to assist archeologist Kit Solent on a top-secret project. As her work begins, Fever is plagued by memories that are not her own and Kit seems to have a particular interest in finding out what they are. Fever has also been singled out by city-dwellers who declare her part Scriven. The Scriveners, not human, ruled the city some years ago but were hunted down and killed in a victorious uprising by the people. If there are any remaining Scriven, they are to be eliminated. All Fever knows is what she's been told: that she is an orphan. Is Fever a Scriven? Whose memories does she hold? Is the mystery of Fever, adopted daughter of Dr. Crumb, the key to the secret that lies at the heart of London? Haunting, arresting, and astonishingly original, Fever Crumb will delight and surprise readers at every fast-paced, breathless turn."

Review

Dr. crumb who is a Member of The order of engineers. Found Fever as an infant,He kept her as it was the rational thing to raise her. Fever is the only Girl that has every stay/in the Order Engineers. Dr. Crumb raise Fever to be rational, and grew her into a Engineer.

The Story line really kicks off when she is asked To assist a Archeologist (Kit solent) on his findings. Fever Soon will begin to learn things about her and the past.
Her life will turn around.

Fever Kind of got on my nerves a little with the whole rational thing. She reminds me of a teen girl who just nags and just say, no i can't do this, i can't do that, Just because someone told her it was wrong to feel, grow hair, etc, because its Not rational to do so. Though you can't help but really feel for her. I fell in love with her as she want along in the story.

I have never heard of Phillip Reeve before, until i found Fever Crumb.
With the Reading of Fever crumb i got a thrill, that was unbelievable, with it's writing, and characters and the story line. That I want to see what else Phillip Reeve as to offer me. Witch i sure will be just as great.

I really enjoy this book a lot.

I can't wait to read A Web of Air by Reeve , sequel to Fever Crumb. Want to to hear more about Fever!

Her Forever Cowboy: Men of Mule Hollow (Steeple Hill Love Inspired) Review

Her Forever Cowboy: Men of Mule Hollow(Steeple Hill Love Inspired)by Debra Clopton

Review

Susan Worth is a hard working Vet. As Vet she puts her patients before herself. This leading into her not sleeping, find love, and so on.

Then when a Cowboy ( Cole Turner ) came back to town, little did she know her life would change forever.
Cole Turner Comes back to Town to help out on his ranch. She hates Cole, the way he acts, specks you name it, she thinks she hates it.

Usual i would not be into books like this but this book I could not find myself putting down. I was wanting more as i read. The story line is great, set in a small town, when lots of Ranches are. Susan lives on the out skirts, She know almost everyone in town. and The characters are very much likable.

Also i learned in this book that God does what he sees best. It may have not been what you wanted to happen but God is the matchmaker in people life not people them self, sure you can show this person to other person but it is truly god who makes the match.

I really like this book a lot, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a love story/life story.

Shadow Princess: A Novel Review

Shadow Princess: A Novel
by Indu Sundaresan

* taking form info of the book.*International bestseller, pens an epic novel based on fact about princesses fighting for power and respect in India's 17th Century royal court.

Review

love the way Sundaresan told the story in this book. She did it in such a way that I found my self transported back to the Century and the characters life. It made me what to keep reading.

Aurangzeb, the middle son of the family, soon became my favorite character.I like him because he is pretty much the outsider of the bunch. No one seems to like him all the much, and yet he still remained a strong. His love for his sister was great, but a lot of the things that he did made me angry.

Then there is Jahanara, the oldest of the daughters. She was loved by almost everyone, The favorite Child. She had everything she could want, but she didn't have a companion, a husband. I hate and love or at the same time. I hated some of the discussion she makes, but i love how She will become different then most princess. She thinks different that is.

The book took place in the Sixteenth century India.
overall i liked this book, it was a little slow for me to get into it a first but after about couple of chapters i hit the spot and just kept reading form there and could not put it down. It did not really have the wow factor but it was not horrible so i say give it a try if you like Historicity base books.
